Governance: A Chief and Council body governs the Tsartlip First Nation.
The Chief and Council are newly elected as of December 2009.

Tsartlip First Nation is located on the West Coast of British Columbia, Canada on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. In the heart of the beautiful Saanich Peninsula, located near Brentwood Bay, B.C.
There are four Saanich First Nations on the Saanich Peninsula they are Tsartlip, Tsawout, Pauquachin, Tseycum. Membership: Tsartlip First Nation has approximately 750 people.
